Kalavrita Ski Center
The ski center of Kalavryta is situated on the north side of Helmos in the position Xerokambos only 15 km from Kalavryta.
It began operating in 1988 and helps a lot for the major growth of the area. Guests in Kalavryta are more than 100,000 every year and most of them are young and all levels of skiers. It is the closest ski center in Athens.
The landscapes of Helmos are magical and the view of the Corinthian gulf is unique.
It has convenient space for parking, first aid station, two chalets, equipment rental shop and school learning. The cafe of chalet turns into a bar at nights when is night skiing.
At 1850 meters you can find cafeteria, restaurant, shop selling ski equipment and practice.
There are seven lifts and twelve tracks that include all difficulty levels, total length 20 km. Roads cleared of snow 24-hour per day and the access to it from Kalavryta is always easy and very pretty, through the fir forest.
