The Georgios V Chalet commenced operations in 2003 aiming at faithfully serving its basic principle and philosophy: the absolute harmonization of hospitality with the natural environment.
At an altitude of 1.000 m, it lives and breathes in a unique location, at the foot of the mountain, surrounded by thick fir tree forest.
In a short distance (3,5Km) from the hustle of the city, Georgios V Chalet, in the way to the Kalavrita Ski Centre, was created to offer you the luxury of the tranquillity of the Greek nature, any time of the year, winter or summer.
Constructed entirely from natural materials, stone and wood, the village includes a Cafe- Bar, a breakfast room, suite-houses and two-bed houses, which offer the visitor a unique feeling of familiarity and warmth.
The Cafe-Bar of Georgios V Chalet Kalavrita is an “open invitation and a temptation” to the visitor, not only for its warm and comfortable environment, but, also, for the nice music and the panoramic view. The exceptional warmth of the wood, combined with the lit fireplace predisposes you for a friendly talk and relaxation. You can also enjoy playing your favourite board games with your company!
In the breakfast room, on the ground floor, you can have a hearty home-style breakfast (homemade jam, honey, fresh juice, eggs, sausages, bacon etc.) with a view to the town of Kalavryta.
The Georgios V Chalet features a specially set-up area with great horses, ponies, wild goats, deer, roes and St. Bernard dogs, where our young and grown-up friends can have lots of fun.
